Old school shop. A bit run down but maintain its cleanliness. Restaurant is spacious and seats indoor and outdoor. The noodles here are exceptionally flavorful with great lard fragrant. Highly recommended for those looking for a late night hearty supper. Price on the higher side (14 ringgits per plate). But i would recommend here than Uptown Hokkien Mee cos the noodles here are more flavorful. Parking is pretty easy at night.

The food is less oily compared with other restaurants which serve similar food. The famous here is the hokkien mee, but other foods are nice too. The menu selection is not much, only focusing on noodle types, fried rice and some snacks and vegetables. The service is good here, it is always full house during peak hour,but the food serving is fast too!

One of my parents' favourite Hokkien mee places. However, it's sad when people use these prawns that are translucent and tasteless due to the way they were preserved. The sotong kangkung and cockles are very good though. Check out those tasteless translucent prawns.

Late Night Supper Hunt near Starling Mall While searching for a late-night supper spot near Starling Mall, we stumbled upon Tiong Hokkien Mee — instantly drawn in by the irresistible aroma of their famous black Hokkien fried noodles, bee hoon, and kuey teow sizzling from the wok. Though their popular fried rice was already sold out past 10 p.m., the disappointment quickly faded as other dishes like crispy fried chicken, lala (clams), and meat soup came to the rescue. Every bite was bursting with wok hei goodness — smoky, flavorful, and comforting, just what you crave after hours. Even as a takeaway, the food tasted just as satisfying as dining in — still warm, fragrant, and full of that signature Tiong flavor. Definitely a great late-night gem for those craving authentic, hearty Malaysian-style noodles near Starling Mall!

Food is ok, price is slightly higher but acceptable. Must order their hokkien mee and fried chicken wings. Staffs are also helpful and kind. Parking are easy to find at night. Overall 4/5.
